3. Terms of Service

This is the core legal agreement. Below is a reorganised version of the main clauses suitable for a “Terms of Service” page.

1. Access and Use of the Site
You must only use the Site in accordance with these Terms and any applicable laws.
You must not interfere with or disrupt the Site, use data mining/robots/scraping tools, or interfere with security features.

To access certain features you must register an Account. You must provide accurate information, must not register more than one Account, and should not register if under 13.
To place Orders you must be at least 18 (or have parental involvement if under 18).
You are responsible for all activity on your Account and must keep your password secure.

2. Information on the Site
All content is protected by copyright and intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to SHOE-NET.
You must not reproduce, adapt, distribute or publish material from the Site without permission.
Product information is based on material supplied by third parties. We are not responsible for inaccuracies caused by incorrect information supplied to us.
Actual products may differ slightly in appearance from images. Some images may be generated or manipulated using AI or for promotional purposes.

3. Orders and Formation of Contract
Placing an Order is an offer. A binding Contract is only formed when you receive a shipment confirmation email.
We may cancel or refuse Orders for reasons including stock unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or on-selling.

4. Cancellation
We may terminate a Contract if the product is unavailable and will refund any payment made.
Once an Order has been processed it cannot be cancelled and must be returned under the Returns Policy.

5. New Zealand Customers – GST, Duties & Fees
Prices are shown in AUD inclusive of NZ GST. Additional customs duties, charges and the High-Value Goods Levy may apply on Orders over NZ$1000 and are payable by you.

6. Voucher Codes, Promotional Codes, Store Credit & Gift Cards
Full conditions for each are set out in the original document (Clauses 10–12). Key points include: only one code per Order, validity periods, exclusions, and non-transferability.

7. User-Generated Content
By submitting Content you grant SHOE-NET a royalty-free licence to use it. You confirm you own the rights and that the Content is genuine and does not infringe any laws or third-party rights.

8. Liability, Indemnity & General
Standard limitation of liability, indemnity, force majeure, governing law (New South Wales, Australia), and other boilerplate clauses apply.
